I've been watching Slow Horses. If you're into that sort of stuff (british spy thriller that's a bit of comedy also) I cannot recommend it enough.
I'm also slowly watching this little show called Dispatches from Elsewhere. It is based on a 2011 documentary that is based on events in and around 2008 in San Francisco. The show makes the inexplicable decision to transplant the story to Philadelphia, and more understandably to the present day. It is also a fictional narrative only loosely based on true events. It was released in 2020 just before the pandemic so barely anyone ever watched it or even heard about it. One of the main characters is a trans woman played by Eve Lindley, other actors include Sally Field, Andre3000 and Jason Segel. I won't say any more about it because I think it's best going in blind. Limited series with only 10 episodes, so even if you don't like the end (it was apparently very divisive among the twelve people who watched it) you haven't wasted a lot of time.
Also right now, while writing this post, Breakfast at Tiffany's is paused on my screen. I have half watched this movie a while ago when it was on tv, but didn't see the first half, so I'm curious how it all coheres with the bits I remember. Also watching with the Hungarian dub so I'm spared whatever voice the actor in yellowface put on, lol
