Krautrock was an eclectic West German musical style from the late 60s and early 70s. Each city had its own "school" of krautrock, with a distinct sound. This band, Ash Ra Tempel, is from the Berlin school, which is known for its psychedelic and spacey sounds. I think it still sounds futuristic, even though it is over 50 years old!
