maybe things have changed since the aughts but almost every professional gamer i knew in 2005 was a really bad person and the situation has probably not improved as tournament purses have gone up

Waku Waku 7 is on switch too! I might get that. Waiting for Samurai Shodown 2 to drop too.

you're also gonna want to dig into the wiki, there's a lot of subtle environmental stuff that's easy to miss on your first playthrough of a core bubsy game, but it really helps to fill in the gaps in the story

I've tried to get into Garou but I don't like what they did to Terry and the rest of the cast didn't click for me. I might've enjoyed Rock if he wasn't so terrible, but alas. Also I could never figure out how to do feint cancels, I input feint and nothing happens.
Waku Waku 7 though, now that's the best masterpiece ever to grace the Neo Geo.

yeah but don't bother with Bubsy: Homecoming or any of the mobile spinoffs. total fluff

do i have to play the original bubsy to get up to date on the story first?

They actually did have patents describing using the IR camera to track objects in 3D space. On the other site's /r/nintendo a while someone predicted a toy set based around that feature. Wish I could find the thread now, but everyone thought it was too much of a stretch and it was probably just another one of those random patents that wouldn't go anywhere, lol.

I understand all your words but I didn't still see anything like that in the video.
My guess is that they wanted to make something that appeals to parents something fierce and something physical and low-tech might win legitimacy points on that front. Maybe they'll educate parents about save points, too, soon?

After I had read this piece, I clicked on the author's name and was sorely disappointed that this was his only piece on Kotaku. Honestly I'll agree with a fellow commenter over at Polygon comment section: the best piece I've ever read on Polygon and basically set all the noodling around I've done in video games in a new perspective.
