This feels like it reverses the entire series tropes, not just the roles. You traverse the traditional locations in the opposite of the usual order. (Gerudo desert is a starting location, etc.) It's the same thing, but in reverse... Almost like an echo. Wow

There are a lot of female characters from the getgo, especially because the first zone is the Gerudo desert. Not to be milquetoast-2010-bechdel-test-feminism, but that's seriously great!

You can pick up enemies and drown them in the river. They have "struggling-to-breath-and-then-dying" animations. It's a little gruesome. (That's also girlpower)

This game is is a touch more serious and mature than you would expect (but not by much.) You start out escaping execution.
