it starts out purporting a stance shared with typical boomer comics, but instead the conservative is on board with the nontraditional gourmet meal. the conservative thendebases it with ketchup, inverting the positionality of the implied author, thus creating something from which humor can be derived.

this is why the "ketchup on a liberal wellington" joke has been considered "the best joke" for over 300 years
