the first funny joke i ever made. rooted in sexism, very gross, yes, but this was the first time i ingratiated myself to my peers with raunchy, irreverent, edgy humor

the sixth grade i think it was

i made people Laugh

i made someone laugh when i said "yo momma like a skateboard... the neighborhood rides her all day long without protection"

honestly that could've been split into at least three different "yo momma like a skateboard" jokes. i also did not understand that people do not generally share their skateboards but hey

but then

i heard it again after the weekend

on the bus, a little bit ahead,

someone, so popular, so very funny, took my joke and REPEATED IT. STOLE it...

i was a little angry but then i dropped it, because like, who cares, we're middleschoolers

it's just a yo momma joke

anyways the point of this story, is i imagine everyone who works at the RIAA has a story like this, but haven't let it go
