followup: my advisors tell me that In geology, rock (or stone) is any naturally occurring solid mass or aggregate of minerals or mineraloid matter, and that Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate. i retract my statement but maintain that the vibe of what i was going for is still correct.
