ya i deactivated mine maybe a month or two after that guy bought it. i wasn't really having fun on there any more, and it only seems like its gotten worse on there since then

The verified checkmarks always being on top of a thread was really annoying for me. They also keep switching me to the algorithm-ridden "For You" feed despite me setting it to just "Following". It was also clear that they are not a safe space for trans people when they did nothing on my report on a hate art harassing a 2hu artist who drew a Marisa with a trans flag on the background. Btw that hate artist was the one who keep posting racist shit like Confederate Reimu in r/touhou. My fellow mods banned him but not indef, which was disappointing. Then there's r/2hujerk which still happily hosts his art. "Let's be racist to own the r/touhou libs", I guess

The last straw for me was when even my Filipino leftist friends were also parroting bullshit patsoc narrative. They're blinded by their fanatic worship of the so-called "working class". I knew from that moment that there's nothing redeeming for me from that platform now
