well the juicero itself was bad because it was $700 for an over-engineered IoT bag squeezer, and the bags had drm, could only be purchased from juicero, and it turned out you didn't even need the machine to get the juice out of them.
the knockoff lets you press whatever fruit you please, but is somehow even more expensive, and there's a ton of people claiming theirs broke, or their order was never fulfilled in the first place. i came across the indiegogo because someone was selling one on a norwegian marketplace at a 95% loss.
i can see the appeal of a juicer that doesn't get dirty if you're really into drinking juice, but neither of these machines justify their selling price. personally i'll just stick to buying cartons.
