she'd get her face stuck too if she used it, but she's convinced that water is finger food. she'll just stick her feet in and lick them

For this reason my cat has her own pint glass that I keep full and I have an old liquor bottle that she can't drink out of, and when I realize that she's having trouble drinking from the pint glass I fill it back up with water from my bottle.

that's a very good and thoughtful solution

maybe i'll go back to drinking out of a bottle eventually, the mug just makes me feel so... civilised. i might compromise and use a sippy cup

I gotta say this is much worse than if you were just drinking water your cat had lapped up. The paws...... unimaginable

shhh don't think about where the paws have been, just think about how cute they are and how no harm could ever come from them ._.

one time my cat finally managed to stick her head inside the tall glass of water i always have by my desk. she got her head stuck, tipped it over, got water all over herself and also my keyboard
