So I've been listening to The Empty Bowl which is co-hosted by Justin McElroy and and cerealously.net's Dan Goubert. It's a super chill meditative podcast where they just talk about breakfast cereal for about half an hour, designed to help people with anxiety.

I really like the energy of the show and would love to see more content like that, so I was thinking of let's playing creative games (starting with maybe minecraft, but maybe something less well-tread like factory town) with a sort of meditative, calming focus. It would have a similar the video by docfuture where he plays sonic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-ef8SD9gUg) but less ASMR-y and not sarcastic about itself. Would anyone be interested in this, or think someone would be interested in this kind of thing?

Would really love some feedback on the idea if anyone has anything.

this is a very good idea. there's a couple accounts already doing this and calling it ASMR but ASMR culture is obnoxious lol

thanks!

yeah like... asmr is something that happens to you, and want i this to be more presented as a tool that the viewer can actually use to relax and probably (very subtly) encourage some active mindfulness practices while watching (e.g. paying attention to and engaging in relaxing breathing, or practicing detachment when difficulties arise in-game)
