I've always wanted to write a heist movie where the protagonists steal the kilogram. Alas, I'll just have to go back to my disaster movie about the 2038 problem.
You still can, just gotta get the timeline right. You can even play with it a bit, have the definition change happen at the end of the movie to make the whole heist pointless.
From today, all SI base units will be defined based on natural constants, with the kilogram the last to join the ranks
