This is tru. Pro-tip tho: bread freezes and thaws pretty well so you can save half that loaf in the freezer.

if you're microwaving it to thaw it back out for sandwiches, my little trick to avoid mushiness is to lean two pieces together like a bread tent

I have a toaster that defrosts bread so it becomes slightly warm bread instead of frozen bread so there's basically no reason not to freeze bread

I recommend bagels. At least for me they fulfill my bread cravings but in a single-serve package.
