but this is also a good character idea, albeit one that should absolutely disable the wireless on their guns :P

we had a really big fight that fed directly into a second, bigger fight, with no break, so it was a somewhat exceptional circumstance

but also he often gets 3 IPS so that's 3 bullets a combat turn out of his pistols (possibly revolvers?) which is nothing to sneeze at with pistol ammo capacity
