Point out something on their profile you found interesting and ask them about it.

Remember it's a dating site so the intention that you're looking to meet with people who could end up being romantic partners is already there for both of you.

The worst that'll happen is they ignore it or say no, but even in that case it's a gain for you because you get practice approaching people

if they "liked" your profile then u already know they are interested. that's the one good thing about OkC and sites like it, it gets the awkward self-doubt of "am i giving this person unwanted attention" out of the way.

they already wanna talk to you. just say something nice and ask them a couple questions about themselves! you can do it!
