I feel like there's a pretty wide gulf between ai that generates something from nothing through prompts, and the facial effect they used that was specifically trained for one thing. Mainly in that one looks way better than every other attempt at doing the same kind of thing, and that the other makes me want to die just thinking about it.
The other bit of ai used in Furiosa was generated voices used in the music, which is an extremely lost battle I think. I think BBL Drizzy probably cemented that into the culture Lol

All of deep learning is just function fitting, and perceptively-better interpolations between A and B are things I'm totally cool with.
"BBL Drizzy" is something I hadn't heard about before, but oof. At least, from funny memes I can at least admit that there's a lot of humor that I think can come from using AI generated voices. Like this one, with Halo jokes I've made word-for-word before but made me laugh to hear in a convincing generated voice.
