Ive tried to learn unity and then godot a hundred times but i think what changed this time to make it happen is that ive recently increased my dose of concerta (which has changed my life tbh) and also i learned basic html and css lol which i think has helped a lot in making it all feel less confusing.
anyways, ive been making a little game about fish. If youve ever played the game Insaniquarium thats sorta what I have in mind. So far im just messing around and having fun! implementing one feature at a time and having to learn as i go.
Look out for the future GOTY of 2038 or whatever. everyone is gonna be talking about it.

question since you're such a big godot advocate: how do you feel about using gdscript vs external languages (c# of course being the biggest)?

I use C# for work and it blows my mind how bad the state of the C# LSP is. I don't understand how Microsoft made C# and the LSP open protocol (to make VSC popular but also genuinely uplifted all other IDEs), and I can barely use C# in any editor that isn't named "Visual Studio" or "Visual Studio Code".

GDScript is just dandy and has gotten a looooot more ergonomic since 3.0, I am a fan of it. I know C# pretty well now and I still prefer GDScript in every case.
