followup to the post about the funny unicode characters [Aa]

i have learned that literally the only computers that are rendering the characters properly are my two machines running a fairly up-to-date version of the popos linux distribution, so i have included an image for those of you running operating systems who's project managers deemed implementing these glyphs to be unprofitable

heyy my windows machines (11 and 10) render them just fine. granted you need to install the noto symbols 2 font first. although for some reason chrome is unwilling to render the characters. firefox does it just fine

ah yeah so chromium just doesn't load other fonts even if you have a font containing the characters installed in your system. so if you wanna see the characters in chrome you have to manually set your standard font to noto symbols 2 in chrome://settings/fonts .
