My birdhouse wasn't apparently good enough for any feathered folk. Maybe the roof had become leaky! But I had made the significant capital investment of 5€. Now it is all reasonable for me to profit off those ragafluffings, to make them do some work until their wings fall off. My work deserves to be compensated.
