I've been seeing several posts/chats lately in various internet places about people like having other people do stuff in their tabletop games behind thier back (eg one player said the main campaign hook was changed to make their character look bad) or people insisting on doing something that is triggering or just upsetting to another player despite protestations. I really just need to shout this out somewhere like.....

ITS THE JOB OF EVERYONE AT THE TABLE TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE ELSE IS HAVING AN ALRIGHT TIME TOO. BE ADULTS AND COMMUNICATE AND COMPROMISE
