If you tuned out of following the show back in the day, I think the finale makes it all very worth it to tune back in, even if you've got a few seasons worth of backlog to catch up with. The show developed sprawling lore and a ton of characters, but it got wrapped up well in the end. Many (good) episodes have had endings that leave watchers baffled, but it doesn't apply to this one.

I must applaud the creators for not only creating a strong episode, but also taking their time to satisfy the more fannish desires. I've been on board since the Nickelodeon short got big on Reddit and the callbacks, the ending montage and the little nods to fan culture definitely felt reverent toward the decade of investment.

Also, as a last note: it’s very fitting that the climactic moment is accompanied by a song named Time Adventure. The show has recurring themes of story telling, creativity, cyclicality and impermanence (think of Jake’s fav cup!) and the title totally reflects that. And the nice thing is that the show would totally be onboard with a reading like that.

Spoilers aren't a huge deal for this ending because even if you see some frame it's going to be difficult to contextualize - there's lots going in the finale. Avoid spoilers if you wanna, but nothing will be ruined so there's no need for fear, that's all what I'm saying.

The nice thing is that you get to make your own scheduling. The show pretty much gets better monotonically until the end, I realized it was something special that could have staying power during the third season.
