by far the suggestion that consumes the most time in and of itself. not even counting the time it takes to wrangle a group of 2-5 other people to play, which far outweighs any play time

so the key to board game life is make friends with board gamers, who will constantly invite you over to play board games because they need people to play board games with. very little effort needed beyond showing up, and a few hours a week
