I'm not sure if anyone here has watched it but this anime has a special place on my heart. It's the one that really got me interested in anime in the first place (though I've watched others before when I was a kid like Keroro). The beginning, the rise to the climax, the interactions between the members of the student council, they're just perfect.
Looking back in retrospect though, it's not as great as I thought it was, I could list some other anime that are just objectively better at handling the ending. How the anime ended just wasn't satisfying, and the pacing to reach that just really felt rushed.
However I don't think any other anime could come close to Charlotte in terms of anticipation I had when it was ongoing. I remember looking every other day for any updates and teasers to the next episodes of the anime with my classmate in high school who also is into Charlotte (he was the one who introduced it to me actually). Like we were speculating about whether Ayumi survived the fall after she used her "collapse" ability, as well as being surprised about the time travel shenanigans. It was really fun. The only anime which I've watched closely when it was ongoing was Spy x Family, though I stopped watching after Season 1... (Yeah I'm a loser who dropped SxF after S1, cry about it)
So yeah. I hope the producers one day revisit Charlotte, like maybe do another one of those bonus episodes between the student council arc and post-Ayumi. Or expand on the ending arc, either by putting up an episode detailing Yuu's encounters with a syndicate he messed with, or an episode where Yuu tries to remember who he is with Nao.

i felt so, so betrayed by charlotte (and the 2016 special was. all i actually remember aside from the bad feelings is nao tomori yelling at a child on someone's front yard, and) that i only have unkind words about it
but folks seem to have fond thoughts about it, don't they. i can't really begrudge that. that show really, really, really could've been something, no? aaaaagh
"bravely you" by lia is just excellent though
