since I posted that blog post about how the head writer of Doctor Who only understands violence on a very superficial level they've aired an episode where the Doctor berates someone for trying to shoot a man who just murdered three people then later in the episode hands over the same man, who is South Asian, to the literal Nazis in Vichy France.
