The epidemic is properly getting started here in Finland so I got bunch of my stuff from my parents' place since we're supposed to start to implement social distancing, meaning I can't really get them later or spend time with my parents, really.

Turns out that one of my mom's coworkers is being put into quarantine because he was in a training session with an infected person. Worse, he and my mom might have been interacting after the session. I will spend at least the next few days, maybe up to a week without being in contact with anyone to make sure I don't contribute to the rise of the epidemic.

I have supplies for two weeks and can work remotely so everything is fine at the moment and I don't fear for myself, I just find this whole thing terribly unfortunate. My mom works for a community home for autistic and cognitively disabled people and the organization really should have stopped unnecessary meetings, like, two weeks ago because it's an obvious source of vulnerability. They've yet to even ask their clients if they'd like to stop visiting day activity centre, which is really following along with not understanding anything about social distancing and that we might be three to six weeks away from an Italy like situation.

The risks, so far, seem miniscule - fatality rate of 0.2% is a likely overestimate for my age group due to undercounting of mild cases, if I have indeed contracted the virus.
