So, the "Christmas is Fascist" series kind of fell out. I was trying to seriously put together thoughts about Christmas actually being an expression and part of fascism while expressing it through the lens of Joe Biden going on a Christmas adventure. It was all too silly and forced and esoteric.

Meanwhile, I put together six essays thinking about race and racism, which served as an "Intermission" where I could be more serious and just write.

But I'm white and I feel weird posting 4000 words about race. So instead I'm just sharing the titles:

  • To my Trans Discords: The white supremacists in the White House and the transphobes in the White House are the same people
  • Santa Claus and Wikipedia saved me from absorbing my parents racisms
  • Other white people and "the chocolate man": Three stories from undergrad
  • No cookouts during a worldwide pandemic
  • "Would you like to see my daughter's pussy?"
    • EDIT: I forgot, I should really clarify this one. A friend of mine is a 2nd generation Indian American and she got the cutest cat in the world. Her mom wanted to show her coworkers her daughters cat, and those are the words she used when asking. The post was a rumination on worrying about social faux pas, braving life while committing them left and right, and how some faux pas are so bad that reasonable people will assume the more generous interpretation. The shocking title was the point of the post, but it kind of depends on the post underneath to contextualize it.
  • White Person Asks for Spicy Food in Broken Mandarin

Like, comment, and subscribe for more "Titles of unposted posts". Other ones include "TV commercials were a form of beauty we lost and I'm not afraid to say it", "they should make a suicide hotline staffed by, like, philosophy phds", and "LSD accident".

well yeah, that's why i didn't post it

for what it's worth, it derides capitalism for expending so much on the arts IF ☝️ the arts is a commercial, and even then abandoning that. plus there's a whole section titled "dubloons"
