the "US pulls out of NATO and gets invaded" is an increasingly very funny possibility
the larger the beast, the slower the death. cells try their best as oxygen disappears. the cessation of the heartbeat is just a point along the way. neurons in the brain fire off, no longer working in concert. dozens then hundreds of disparate systems, dying at different rates. eventually, all biological functions cease, and nature comes to reclaim its carrion.

i know "america is dying" has been discussed for decades now, but come on
our leaders are so old that "actuarial tables" come up regularly in political discussion. and that's not even the 100th worst thing about it!
