watching someone open postman, and then open visual studio, and then press the "play" button, and wait, and then do an incantation of clicks to open another instance of visual studio, and then press the "play" button, and then copy-and-paste a token from one instance of visual studio into postman, so that they can make an API call to their first instance of visual studio
it's like watching someone type "google" into the search bar to go to search on google.com.
the keys i press to do the exact same thing are "<ctrl+r>dot<up arrow><up arrow><up arrow><enter>
" because i wrote these three lines 11 months ago and have been repeating it ever since
it's easier and faster. you get to use computer less. and postman is ableist. you'll get stronger at terminal the more curl
s you do
I don't mean to harp on anyone who is bad at the terminal-- it has a lot of weird and counterintuitive conventions. But Microsoft is going to move your buttons around one day! I swear!

i want to emphasize i'm joking about the elitism, and i've relied on gui tools. and the command line suffers from so much suck. and i don't do anything with all the time i save
but i spent a lot of time wondering "how do people program with gui tools" and i think i assumed they were using integrated terminals for the most part
