how do you voice chat if you don't like discord?

also, have you ever heard of Matrix?

We had a mumble before but we're not gonna pay for that again with the discord around. And yea I use matrix, but I think we're good with irc and discord lol

I ~~don't~~ DO know how to switch from freenode to different irc servers now!

I ~~don't know enough about the privacy issues with Discord to adequately assess if it might be appropriate for my unique set of circumstances but I'm pretty sure it isn't.~~ am a bit more security/privacy conscious than the average duck, but it's more of a hobby than actually trying to protect myself from the inevitable consequences of serious activism.

We'll figure it out.

I'm just glad to be able to chat or lurk. I kind of need friendly voices at random times right now.
