it is an okay game, but it doesn't hit the criteria of "if media is actually good, then it's still good if you've been spoilered". I'd recommend just reading about it at this point.

i miss when shooty games weren't about trying to project you into a weird jingoistic fantasy where you're Rambo From Rambo 3 and you're Shooting Realistic Name Brand Firearms at Thousands of Foreign Enemies Who Are Conveniently Not Thought Of As People.
i wish they were still about rocketjumping around in space and playing reverse tag with the quad damage, because that was a lot more fun and challenging to play and also didn't resemble anything a child (or gamer bro with a child's understanding of politics) would mistake for reality.
