I hang around a lot of math people and this really seems to be the math of our generation. Like, tons of young people are very hyped about it.

yea i just hear about this stuff through osmosis and am always intrigued. idk what you hear but i also hear about programmers talk about category theory a lot (although its not higher category theory iiuc)
