having a good time with it! the moment i got the antennae all connected to my receiver and I heard the music crackle to life through the static it felt a bit magical
i get some nice local stations. there's multiple college radio stations which is great since they play actually interesting music. always figured radio wouldn't be of interest to me since I listen to more obscure music mostly, but those stations have been introducing me to lots of new stuff. thank you for the great set, person with a really good dj name I can't say because it would doxx me to within FM radio distance
it's also nice to know other people out there are listening to the same thing. just a nice feeling of connection while going about doing household tasks.
the jazz station is good too (especially during the off-hours avant garde sets) and the classical station is always good background noise
one of the college stations has been plugging some local mutual aid stuff which is cool. i still think they're cowards for only playing a 3.5 minute gy!be song. give me all of motherfucker=redeemer on live radio.

Man I'm envious, our local jazz station turned into a variety station a few years ago, and it's not as good. Our local classical station is almost always playing NPR when I tune in. Everything else is crappy commercial butt rock, crappy commercial pop, or christofash talk radio. I have to use internet radio if I want to hear good music, and even then, most of those stations play ads.
