i asked to learn how to ride a bike when i was like 10 so my dad took me to the park for me to try (idk why we couldnt do it at home). when i fell over he laughed at me, and there were other kids around, so i was like "fuck this i dont want to learn anymore" so i still dont know how to ride a bike.

A lot of people learn how to ride a bike as an adult, and it's arguably easier than learning as a kid!

Many parents start their kids off on training wheels but the thing is that's not really a good way to do it. I think it's better to just get a bike, and then walk around on it a bit, maybe coast a little and see how long you can stay upright just coasting; if you start to fall just put your foot down. Keep doing that until you can reliably balance, and only then start concerning yourself with pedaling.

I really think it'll be easier than you think and hanging out at a park screwing around on a bike for an afternoon could be fun. Plus, knowing how to ride a bike can never be a bad thing! You should do it if you want, don't be embarrassed to try!
