I'm surprised this didn't make the article but an incident from his youth where he wanted to mass murder Palestinians was part of the inspiration for this game. I don't think he's really learned anything from that other than "maybe killing is wrong but" and I don't think he's ever like, talked to a Palestinian person.

is the fourth paragraph in the article talking about a different incident of him wanting to do that? if so extra yikes
