in the wake of stories that detail systematic fraternity-like environments, and overwork to the point of physical injury and mental illness, part of me read this headline and was kind of like "only one guy?" (which is obviously one too much, but you get my drift), but this story is an exemplar of the way companies, or more specifically their HR departments, downplay cases of sexual assault and shift blame downwards, away from more "valuable" executives towards vulnerable staff members. absolutely fucking disgusting
