predictably im completely in love with kashima, she is the best character ever conceived and didn't get nearly enough screentime. everyone else was very good, but she was the best.

If you liked nozaki-kun you might also like "Haven't you Heard? I'm Sakamoto" which has has a similar level of japes, though is a fair bit more absurdist and has a little bit of fat shaming in a few episodes.

mikoshiba is VERY good but kashima is my HEART AND SOUL. and the fact that they are bffs fills my heart with joy. the two best characters in a show full of good characters....

Yeah, there's Sakamoto who is just like... amazing. There's Sakamoto's friend who seems like he'd be a shallow character just to be a nerd and comedy relief but also ends up being a great guy. There's also some "bad dudes" and a whole (comedic) subplot with them involving school gangs.

Most of the screen time is on Sakamoto and secondarily his friend but that's fine because Sakamoto himself is an amazing character.

i liked it a lot but wanted to like it more and there are certainly issues but it's a fun and cute show, all the girls are amazing and deserve much better
