They just perfectly nailed the optimistic tone and the focus on the characters' feelings and just everything about the original series and just GOSH I'm so looking forward to it. I cried a little.

When I was a kid watching the (awful) 4kids dub I always wanted to be Sakura. I was even terrified to watch when anyone else was around, talk about a messy soup of repressed trans feelings lol. I watched the real series about five years ago early on in my transition and it kind of helped me feel like a kid who was also a girl in a way I had missed growing up.

I know this is really corny to say but the series is really special to me lol.
