This was supposed to be the season where Chihyafuru returned but that got delayed to Fall so instead I have to watch the other extremely good animes airing.

Hitori Bocchi
Cute comedy that ended up way better than I was expecting. It's about a girl who has trouble making friends, until her one friend in elementary school makes her promise to make friends with her entire class in middle school. It's weirdly engrossing, the cast fits together extremely well, and it deliverers at least one big belly laugh an episode.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
I thought at first this was gonna be some kind of downbeat horror show, and yet it settles into general shonen action manga stuff kinda surprisingly fast, like with some preposterous story beats. That said, I kinda love it. The look is very lush and it's rad to see all this comfort food kinda stuff handled like this. It also does this nice contrast between an incredibly sweet main character and a harsh world that I think works real well.

I probably won't be watching Sarazanmai because there's something about Ikuhara that makes me profoundly uncomfortable even in his works that I know are good. Carole & Tuesday looks rad as fuck and I'm gonna devour it all in one go. That's all thank you for reading.
