I know everyone is heaping unsolicited advice on you, but I hope you at least have some IRLs who can offer advice (their tips might have already suffered the same fate).
Did you at least keep some of your nail bed? Apparently it's possible to grow most of your fingertip back. Will keep my fingers crossed on your behalf

thank u for asking! it seems ok so far, everything is congealed and stable with regular bandaid treatment. luckily most of the nail bed is fine, i only ended up losing maybe half a cm, its just at a weird angle and looks gross >:p
it would be cool if it all grew back! ill be satisfyed with no exposed meat in the long term lol
