This is a side thing to what you're talking about here, but I feel it's worth mentioning that I don't think jstpst is like, a safe alternative to social media or fighting the system or anything like that. the reason to post on jstpst is because it's the greatest place to post, anything else is just a side effect.

Oh yeah, I think more that people here share a baseline higher level of awareness and criticality of social media, and that is probably true across all the small internet. (Even including alt-right safe haven sites who think Facebook is evil for totally different reasons)
