I agree on all points

I really like the "Home" button thing that is common nowadays, at least. Being able to pause games at any time on the 3DS was mindblowing to me, being able to change settings without losing the game was mindblowing. I loved that.

There is something to be said about replacing start-select with share buttons, but on the Xbox, it's unclear what effect the share button has (maybe I disabled it?), and on the PlayStation controller, the share button appears to share dual duty with the Bluetooth connect button. I don't have a PlayStation, but this controller confuses me.

I agree entirely with the face buttons. The Xbox controller has translucent plastic with opaque, colored letters injected into them, and they're the only ones still with color. It's my favorite for it, and AFAIK they've been doing this ever since the first Xbox controller.
