i don't have that kind of ocd but i have left the oven on and the door unlocked and the lights on and the sink running (i also have adhd) and only the last one ended up badly (twice)

I have even gone so far as to cut the circuit breakers and I still do this.

Also when I go on a long trip, I get half way out of the state and then think "damn I probably didn't lock the door to my apartment."

I think that would just be playing in to it; sometimes I remember to check before I go but it doesn't super change much.

It's just something I gotta work through somehow, I think.

Idk if I am developing OCD I don't want to develop a bunch of OCD rituals, and taking a photo of my stove every day would be a pretty big one. Because then if I forget the photo I would then be stressed about that, instead. It doesn't change the calculus really.
