This is a genuine question, I thought the dasher gets "dibs" when they accept a pickup?

honestly??? no idea. ive only ever worked the food-production side of things and i never perform door dashing or order from them. the manager was answering calls about it all night ┐('~`)┌

I was at a thing a couple of weeks ago, there were about 12 of us and people decided to order food, it said that it was split into two which we guessed was because of it being a big order and weight limits or something. Anyway all the food showed up with the first delivery, but a second driver arrived regardless and was like yeah they just gave me an empty bag. I don't understand??
