nah in general i think it's fine when words sound basically the same but it feels weird to think someone might mistakenly think I'm saying "whore" if even for a moment. bit of a loaded word!

I do pronounce cot and caught differently but that's just happenstance

In English, "horror" is a word that refers to to something that incites fears, and "whore" is a word which refers to someone who engages in sex for money. These words are pronounced the same.
