i wash all my produce with (very dilute) dish soap, and rinse everything well. however i was told this is weird and that dish soap is somehow unsafe to use, so now i wanna know what other ppl who arent weirdos do

personally i would rather contend with the potential for a tiny amount of soap residue vs listeria/e. coli, but what do i know

No I just eat them as is, don't even rinse them in most cases except celery.

i rinse with water only. i might even dry it with a tea towel.

just water but also sometimes i consider treating veggies like raw meat and cooking it to a safe temperature of 175F
