i'm watching Joey, the terrible sequel to Friends that was cancelled mid-season. it has:

• none of the things that people liked about friends
• none of the things that people liked about the character joey
• no chemistry
• jokes are predictable and bad, kinda like in two and a half men
• bob odenkirk guest stars in one episode where he tricks joey into making a fool of himself, which is my favourite episode so far, but i think that says more about bob than it does about the show.

so i wouldn't recommend it. but i'm a big fan of friends, and when i first heard of this show, it was unobtainium. now, you can just watch it straight on archive.org, and apparently it's now officially available for free on youtube in north america. i presume i'm feeling what star wars fans growing up in the 70s and 80s felt when they were able to see the holiday special for the first time.
