It's a really good short story. It feels shockingly boundary pushing and contemporary even now over 90 years later. Not many stories even now would have the main character be a woman with a sex life let alone explore the weird mental space of abuse. Truly amazing work.
P.S. I know the name and 1934 but it's not racist I promise.
