It's about a writer who likes to be alone who adopts a stray cat. It's got good drama that's blunt but very low key I like it. There's a gimmick to it that's very silly that I won't spoil but it's really good and ties into themes.

One of the best shows this season. I love cat and book boy.

2 mins in and im excited for the gimmick to be that the cat is actually the ghost of his dead parents

im liveblogging apparently

this guy has GOT to get some actual cat food, you cannot just feed a cat sushi, that's so bad for it

Something about referring to a cat as "neko-chan" is very cute to me

thank god for the obnoxious friend who's not gonna just sit by and watch this guy ignorantly take really bad care of his new cat.

Inaccurate cat info in this cat anime. Misleading. 0/10.

(the going theory last time i checked is that cats catch surplus because they communally raise kittens, so they habitually bring the extra back for the mothers and kittens who didn't go out hunting. cats are actually extremely social creatures!)

the fuck kinda editor just comes to your damn house after you don't answer his calls for a couple hours?? what????
